Math Wizard is a specialist maths tutoring service in Dubai, teaching all four IB Mathematics courses - Analysis and Approaches HL and SL, and Applications and Interpretation HL and SL - alongside GCSE, IGCSE and A Level. Home Tuition in Dubai

Private, one-to-one maths tuition at home - a home tutor who comes to the student's own desk, not the other way around.

What a home lesson looks like. Everything is worked through on iPad, exactly like an online lesson, and whatever's written during the session is AirDropped to the student afterwards. Sessions are an hour, and a parent doesn't need to be in the room.

The honest advantage over online. Being physically there means more control over what a student is actually doing during the lesson - that's the real difference a home visit makes, not any change in how the maths itself gets taught.

Scheduling that moves with real life. Day and time can be changed at a parent's request rather than locked to a fixed weekly slot, with 12 hours' notice needed to reschedule. Frequency naturally increases before exams and eases off over school holidays.

Why Parents in Dubai Choose Math Wizard

Maths only. Most tutoring centres in Dubai teach eleven subjects with whoever is available that week. Math Wizard teaches one subject. That means knowing not just the answer, but which specific step your child is getting wrong and why.

All four IB courses. Plenty of tutors in Dubai will take AA SL. Far fewer will take AI HL or AA HL Paper 3. Math Wizard teaches all four IB courses, including full Paper 1, 2 and 3 technique.

You see the work. Every student gets access to the worksheet library, and you can see exactly which topics have been covered and where the gaps still are.

14 years, five curricula. Fourteen years teaching maths and calculus across British, American, IB, SABIS and Australian curricula, from Grade 8 through to A Level, IB Higher Level and university-level calculus.

How Math Wizard Teaches

Diagnostic first. Every student starts with a short diagnostic to find their real level, and whether the gap is conceptual, exam technique, or confidence.

A plan built around them. Each plan follows the student's own syllabus, goals and timeline, broken into milestones that are actually achievable.

Concepts before complexity. Foundations are secured before moving on to harder problems, so nothing is built on a shaky base.

Solve first, review together. Students attempt questions on their own first; mistakes are then worked through together, so they learn to think a problem through rather than just copy a method.

Adaptive to how each student learns. Teaching adapts to the student, including support for ADHD, autism and other learning differences.

Fully digital lessons. Explanations are worked through on iPad, with digital notes shared after every session, and online lessons run over Zoom or Google Meet.

Parents kept in the loop. Progress updates are shared with parents regularly, not just at report card time.
